Well, things are looking much better than before. This strange beggar, who is quite cunning and kind (not to mention very mysterious) continues to drop hints that Odysseus will return and kill all of the ravenous suitors that haunt me and my husbands' palace. I feel that something big is about to take place, because Telemachus has been acting rather odd and he also just summoned me to my room, which is when I decided to go blogging. I am excited for the day that the suitors will be kicked out of the palace, because I can fell that day coming soon.

Good News!

Finally, some good news! A strange, weary beggar has come to the palace today, and he claims to know something about my beloved Odysseus! Also, Telemachus has returned in full health. I am overjoyed! Unfortunately, I heard the suitors planning to kill Telemachus - hearing this broke my heart. I hope that Odysseus comes back to reign as the honorable king once more, and to take control of his palace that has turned to ruin.

The days and nights are growing more intolerable. They all just blur together. I am retaining hope that my Odysseus and Telemachus return, and each day I gaze out my window towards the shore longing to glimpse a ship returning, and to hear news that it is one of them. I long for the suitors to leave my home, and my husband to be back. All I can do is wait and hope. In the meantime, I will try to busy myself by coming up with devious tricks to lure the suitors on so I will not have to marry one of them.

At the moment, I am sitting home, being tormented by all of my suitors. All I want is for my dear Telemachus and Odysseus to return home. I am trying to be faithful to Odysseus but it is getting harder and harder each day. The palace is turning to ruins and is being run over by these terrible men, and I cannot do anything but wait.
